About Andi...
Andi was introduced to photography by her father at a young age. She grew to love it.
She calls herself a ‘spontaneous’ photographer – capturing scenes, marine life and landscapes ‘as she sees them’ rather than waiting for that perfect shot as many photographers do.
Andi’s inspiration comes from spending 5 years living on a sailing boat sailing the east coast of Australia.
The majority of her images are captured using a drone for which she has a drone pilot’s license and four years experience. When I asked her about her life here, she said
“ Photography is the number one thing in my life, I love it. I love going to difficult to reach places to takes photos. Drone photography provides a different perspective of the subject that I’m photographing.”
The editing process gives Andi enormous satisfaction and it’s not unusual for her to take many photographs of the same scene and to choose only one of those photos as the ‘one to work on’. “Editing is like painting. I love abstract art and my abstract photos are some of my favourites.”

Professionally, Andi is a Real estate and Property Photographer who supports real estate agencies and property owners, to create commercial portfolios of properties around the Whitsundays.
She has a speciality skill in creating 360-degree Virtual tours and Floor Plans using a new lidar technology which has been a significant advantage in her business.
Andi speaks five different languages and as a child was an accomplished horse rider. At the age of 14, she was the first female in Czechoslovakia to compete in the World Championships in Austria which was quite an achievement during the communist regime.
